EemsDelta stimulates sustainable mobility
Jan Menninga sees the charging station as a boost for the center of Delfzijl. “While you do your shopping in the city center or grab a bite to eat, your car will be fully recharged. Plein de Vennen is an ideal location for the charging station, so close to stores, restaurants and of course the beach in Delfzijl. “Hans Ronde is also enthusiastic about the charging station. “It fits in with our ambition to encourage sustainable mobility. With this charging station we are helping our residents to switch to electric vehicles. Soon there will also be charging plazas in Middelstum and Loppersum. Fuel prices are rising. That makes driving electric more attractive. The Eems Delta municipality considers it very important to have an optimal infrastructure for electric driving. This charging station is another step in the right direction.”
